Terms of Use

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and WSO Digital Inc., a corporation based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada (“we,” “us”). They cover the Mood Astrology app for iPhone, including its widgets and Live Activities (“the app”), and the website at moodastrology.app. The app may appear on the App Store under an earlier name, Moony.

By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Mood Astrology is

Mood Astrology calculates the Moon's phase and position, your birth chart and related astrology, and offers readings, rituals, tarot and similar content for entertainment and self-reflection.

Astrology, tarot, numerology, palmistry and related practices are not science. Nothing in the app is medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice, and it should not be relied on to make important decisions. If you are struggling, please talk to a qualified professional or a local crisis line.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use Mood Astrology. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms for you.

Your license

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, as allowed by the App Store's Usage Rules.

You agree not to:

• copy, resell, rent or redistribute the app or its content;
• reverse engineer or tamper with the app, except where the law gives you that right;
• get around purchase checks or unlock paid features without paying;
• use the app to break the law or to harm anyone.

The app, its design, artwork, written content and software belong to us and our licensors. These terms do not transfer any of that to you.

Pro subscriptions

The app is free to download. Mood Astrology Pro unlocks additional features and is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, and where shown, as a one-time purchase. Prices and periods are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged within the 24 hours before renewal.
• If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings, or from Settings, Manage Subscription in the app. When you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
• Purchases are handled by Apple, and refunds follow Apple's policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.
• If you reinstall the app or change iPhones, use Restore Purchases in Settings.

We may change which features are included in Pro or change prices. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for, and Apple will ask for your consent where it requires it.

The optional AI features

The AI assistant and AI palm reading work only if you add your own API key from Anthropic. When you do:

• Requests go from your device directly to Anthropic under your own account. You are responsible for your key, for any charges Anthropic bills to it, and for following Anthropic's terms and usage policies.
• AI-written answers are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable. Treat them as reflection, not fact or advice.
• We do not control Anthropic's service and are not responsible for its availability.

Cycle and Moon

Cycle and Moon, including any period or fertile-window estimate, is for reflection only. It is not a medical device, is not medical advice, and must not be used as contraception or to avoid or achieve pregnancy.

Your content

What you write in the app, such as journal entries and notes, belongs to you. It is stored on your device and we do not receive it, so you are responsible for keeping your own backups.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, the app and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We work hard on the accuracy of our calculations, but we do not promise that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or right for your purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, WSO Digital Inc. and the people who work on Mood Astrology are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of the app or website, even if we were told such damages were possible.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or CAD $50.

Some places do not allow these limits. Where that is the case, they apply only as far as the law permits, and nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

Ending these terms

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your license if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as ownership, disclaimers and limits of liability, continue after these terms end.

Apple

Because the app is distributed through the App Store, you and we also agree that:

• These terms are between you and WSO Digital Inc. only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
• Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection, privacy or similar claims.
• If a third party claims the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting,” and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If it conflicts with these terms, these terms apply to the extent allowed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, sitting in Toronto. If you are a consumer, this does not remove your right to bring a claim where you live or to rely on the consumer protection laws of your home country.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for meaningful changes we will let you know in the app or in the App Store release notes before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated terms.
